A little Nip and Tuck - Blog Style!

Tuesday, July 17, 2012

If you are reading this in a reader, stop it right now! You have to go and check out the new blog design. It has been several months coming and I am so excited that it is finally up. It makes me feel so much more official!

I will be updating the new page links in the coming weeks, so be on the look out for those. Kim at Seven Thirty Three Designs did the design work for me and I think she did a great job! What do you think? Do you like the new look?

One of my favorite things to do in Missouri is to thrifting and we did plenty of it while I was there a few weeks ago. Here are some of the treasures I picked up:
Gold Magazine rack. Just what my fireplace needed! $5.00

Large Wooden Bowl. $1! I bought 3 of these. Not sure how I want to use them yet. Wrap in rope, put a mirror on them...open to ideas!

Vintage hanging fruit basket. $5. I think this will go in the new laundry room to hold mail, keys, dry erase supplies. AKA pretty junk holder!

Wood frames. Found these in a bin at $.50 each. My sister and I were fighting over the good ones for sure! These will get a paint makeover and be part of the magnet project for the appliances in the laundry room.

I truly love thrifting! There is just such a rush that comes from finding the perfect thing at the perfect price. Like hitting a jackpot! Anyone else been thrifting lately?

  2. The new blog looks great! And I'm so jealous of your thrift finds - I will have to go thrifting in CS once I realize where I have a spot for something "new" in the house!
