I recently completed a design board for a family that wanted a grown up looking guest space on their main floor that could still include some toy storage and kid functions.
It was a tall order, but I think the design came together to incorporate all of the needs. The bedding is a more grown up color palette, but the quilting brings in youth and pattern will hide stains! An antique changing table will be repurposed into art organization and guest storage. The wicker baskets with cute labels will tuck all of the toys away nicely when guest arrive. Small scale seating area makes the kids feel right at home. Hopefully a space for everyone to enjoy...here it is!
