He has had a big month! He talks ALL OF THE TIME! He has quite a few words that we understand well, but generally it is just gibberish. He talks to you like you are having a very normal, long conversation. We have NO idea what he saying though! It cracks us up when he does it while holding our phones up to his ear!!! He says "Bye" to anyone and everyone and it has the biggest Texas twang that you have ever heard! Surely I don't say it like that ;)!
He has entered into picky eater phase. He will still eat anything out of a squeeze pouch and anything with cheese. I just tell myself if he drinks his milk and takes a vitamin, we will get through this phase! He loves to use a fork and is pretty insistent about it, no matter how poorly it is going. He can make some serious messes! He drinks out of flexible straw cups and it pretty attached to them. He always has one hanging out of his mouth whether it has milk in it or not.
He is almost walking. We have really been working on it and he will now stand for several seconds on his own and take 2-3 steps on his own. He is a CLIMBER, all you boy mommas warned me about that one...and it is true!
He loves to watch Elmo, read books that are interactive, and gives long hugs when you go get him in the morning. He must have Scout, 2 elephant lovies, and 1 more stuffed elephant to go to sleep. Speaking of sleep, he is now down to 1 nap a day most days. I am trying to wrap my brain around this new development and how it changes EVERYTHING!!! It will be nice to be able to do things in the morning now, but I will miss my quiet morning time with coffee and me time.
