In 2007, God blessed us with a baby girl, Lilly. In 2008, he called her home. Grief drove us to find new passions and that is when we starting curating space and creating custom pieces. God has blessed us with new life again, Mia and Tripp. This is our journey through this fallen, but beautiful world.
Richard turned 30 last week and it was a great week of fun. On Tuesday, we started the day with "Richard's 30 Favorite Things." He opened 30 presents all representing the things he enjoys most. Then we went to the zoo and out for great mexican food. That night we ordered in Italian with a small group of friends and family. On Saturday, Richard celebrated again with a men only poker party. Then we finished it off with a family outing to a baseball game on Sunday. Whew! It was a busy week, but I can't think of anyone more fun to spoil. He may be 30 years old, but he is still the biggest, most fun-loving kid I know. Below are a few pics of our fun.
Man party birthday cake made by Richard's sister, Mandy.
Mia sitting in her "own" chair at the baseball game. I was so sad that she didn't want to be held the whole time, but she was cute in the that big chair!
Mia tasting her first hot dog. I hope she will love them as much as I do!
The only picture I could find of man night...yes, Richard is wearing a candy necklace and a camo shirt. I think they had a good time being silly!
An array of cupcakes to celebrate with! They were from Dimples. Yum!
Richard and Mia watching the monkeys at the zoo. They both loved it!
Mia and I. She has her eye on the gorilla!
We had to get a picture of the elephant. Mia practiced her elephant sound a lot that day. She also picked up a Lion roar. Too cute!
We had a great time celebrating your birthday with you. You may be wiser, but you don't look or act any older than when I met you 10 years ago! Each birthday is just going to keep getting better. We love you!
