Christmas 2008

Whew! Christmas has come and gone. It is a whirlwind of activity that goes by so quickly. We had a great Christmas season with friends and family. We are truly blessed by everyone in our lives. Thank you to all of you for making this Christmas pretty good under the circumstances. Here are a few pictures to recap our adventures. I stress the word few, because we really did not take many pictures.

2nd annual Holiday party with the "Care Coaches."

I don't talk much about work on here, but now is a great time to say that I LOVE my job! I can truly say that I have my dream job. I work with an incredible group of women that challenge me and and others around them to be their very best. I run a program called disease management, and the fabulous team around me helps people obtain their optimum health. They really are amazing! Richard and I hosted our Christmas party for the 2nd year in a row. Here are few pictures of the team. (This is by far not all of them, there are 17 all together, but it was impossible to get them all in one picture.)

Centerpiece on the dessert table. This was my attempt at being "crafty"...

View from the entry into the dining room and formal living room. The back wall is a mirror, that is why it looks like two trees.

Richard and I at the party. Sorry, the belly is hidden. Trust me, it is there though.

A few of the Care Coaches...

Vivien and her husband Regi. I love Vivien, she is my assistant and brain when I don't have one. She can keep up with more things than anyone I know. She went to Germany for two weeks for Christmas, and I was lost without her. Thanks for all you do V!

Events not photographed include:
Accountant Rockband Christmas party. Scary...I know.
Fondue/Football party with the Campbells and Droemers and their beautiful new babies.

We went to Amarillo for Christmas and I will post a few pictures of that soon...

PS: I am feeling great and moving along quickly. Next week we will have a sonogram to find out what we are having...we haven't decided if we want to know or not. We will keep you posted either way.

Happy 2009!
