Aggie Ring Weekend

Wednesday, April 9, 2008

My wonderful baby sister got her Texas A&M Aggie Ring this weekend. WHOOP! We headed down to College Station to celebrate with her and the rest of my family. We had a great time!
They let me present her ring to her since I was an Aggie. Of course I am crying!
Here are Chelsi, Richard, my hands with our Aggie Rings. I couldn't be more proud!
Chelsi decided to break tradition and "dunk" her ring in chocolate pudding. (The traditional choice is beer, so this is definitely the better option).
Here is my beautiful niece Bennett! We had such a great time with her this weekend, she is truly a blessing to Richard and I. Yes we know she is chubby, that is why we love her so much.
Here is beautiful Bennett and her Daddy, Beau, this one is a keeper!
Thank you Brad, Jenni, Marci, and Sam for hosting us this weekend and to Mom and Dad for spoiling us with Chicken Wings and Greasy Cheese Burgers. We love College Food!
It was great therapy to be with our family this weekend. We were worried that too many sad people together would be a bad combination, but we laughed and truly enjoyed each other.
Based on the house votes, we hear you loud and clear that we should only paint the trim. We will let you know how that turns out soon. We are also starting some inside renovations that will be very exciting as well. Before and Afters to come.

  1. Yay for Ring Day! That brings back so many fun times to my mind! I dunked my ring in Dr. Pepper, which slightly burned going down. Chocolate pudding is definitely a better choice. Congrats to Chelsi!
